This is particularly illustrated in the context of transition towns, where bottom-up initiatives emerge through collective and grassroots organizing. He will take a sabbatical during the year 2019-2020 in order to conduct an ethnographic study in Totnes, UK, and study the emergence and development of the transition towns’ movement.
