“ My research explores how organizations and institutions construct, contribute to, and aim to address social problems, particularly different forms of inequality. She has studied the latter in contexts such as: allocative decisions in social services for the homeless, bases for support in crowdfunding ventures, democratic governance in hybrid organizations, and (social) entrepreneurship as a tool for reducing socio-economic inequalities in disadvantaged communities.
