I am a philosopher deeply concerned with environmental issues within the Anthropocene and the planetary boundaries frameworks. More specifically, I work on mineral resources governance, with a focus on metals that are essential to the energy transition (rare earths, lithium). In this context, I look closely at the mining revival in Europe as well as recycling and urban mining. My global perspective is that escaping extractivism is only possible within a post-growth society. I am therefore also interested in the degrowth paradigm shift from an environmental, political, and social perspective
