Adam Storer

Adam Storer is a post-doctoral researcher at emlyon business school.

Adam’s research focuses on inequality and relationships within organizations. He uses a mixed-methods and computational approach to study objective and subjective job quality, with a particular focus on how relational aspects of work impact job quality while also shaping the criteria workers use to evaluate their jobs. Adam primarily studies these dynamics among frontline service sector workers who experience low wages and unstable schedules, while also navigating a complex set of relationships within firms.

Adam received his PhD in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2022, and holds an M.A. in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University.
